Burwell Museum is a rural history museum depicting village life through the centuries on the edge of the Cambridgeshire fens. Set inside and outside a cluster of interesting buildings, including a 200 year old timber framed barn, the site resembles a farm yard. Most of our displays are arranged like stage or film sets to give visitors a better idea of how and where the items were used. We also have a Grade II* Listed windmill dating from around 1820.
