The Ashridge Estate is a 5000 acre site in the Chilterns which includes ancient beech forests and rare chalk downlands, among other beautiful and environmentally significant landscapes. These landscapes are protected and preserved by the National Trust so that they may be enjoyed by walkers, cyclists and picnicers for years to come while also ensuring the environmental integrity of  natural habitats and their threatened residendents such as the Duke of Burgandy butterfly.

The Ashridge Estate is also situated only 30miles from central London, and close to a number of other large towns. The Estate can therefore offer each visitor an oppourtunity to escape from the bustle of modern life without the stress of travelling miles to achieve it.
