Follow the brown signs

After following the brown sign off the main road, a winding leafy lane eventually brought us to the High Rocks Hotel and opposite the entrance below to High Rock. The instructions posted at the entrance stated that we purchase the £3.00 tickets in the Hotel opposite to gain entrance to impressive rocks which originate 6,000,000 years BC with signs of neolithic dwellings and hill forts. A good thirty minutes we walked through them, over them and bridges between them experiencing spectacular views and the sense of time and history.

This made our afternoon a Magical Mystery Tour and our first experience of Brown Signing! Thank you again for the inspiration Amanda! We are on board! – Nominated by Philip Alexandra
