Chesters Bridge Abutment – Hadrian’s Wall
Entrance is FREE!
Close to Chesters Roman Fort are the remains of a bridge which carried Hadrian’s Wall across the North Tyne. Visible on both river banks, they are most impressive on the eastern side.
