A pretty village church with a battlemented tower
St Mary’s is built of Ham stone with a battlemented tower. Originally 13th century, it was considerably enlarged in the 15th century and further altered in the 16th and 19th centuries.
The oldest feature is a circular Norman font.
Traces of Medieval wall paintings have recently been discovered.
