A Thames-side landmark
St Peter’s is a picturesque Thames-side landmark with an elegant open-work spire and octagonal belfry.
The previous church on this site was destroyed during the Civil War.
The gorgeous Georgian interior features a beautiful coffered ceiling and a rounded apse.
Inlaid in the floor is the tomb of Sir William Blackstone (died 1780), and other members of his family author of the renowned Legal Commentaries.
