where it began & where we are now
We, the members, took over the municipal golf course and club from Durham County Council in July 2011. All revenue generated is ‘ploughed back into the club/course so that it is ‘self financing’, every thing else is run on a volunteer basis and you’ll therefore appreciate that ‘money is tight’ !!! But there is a very good response for volunteers from our members, to help out in various tasks.
