Tyndale Monument

The Tyndale Monument is a tower at North Nibley, it was built in honour of William Tyndale a translator of the New Testament who was thought to have been born nearby. Constructed in 1866 the tower is 111 ft high with a spiral staircase leading up to the top of 121 steps. The hill and the height of the tower allows a wide range of views, including the River Estuary.
