All Saints’ Church, Shorncote

A tiny 800-year-old church

This delightful little church, hiding down a lane in gravel-pit country south of Cirencester dates from about 1170.

It has a pretty double bell-cote added in the 14th century.

Monuments and a stone Royal Arms line the walls of its simple interior.
