Idle Valley Nature Reserve
Entrance is FREE!
Beautiful area, walks, cafe and activities. This spectacular wetland site covers an area of 450 hectares following the River Idle northwards. The size of 600 football pitches, it is one of the largest sites for nature conservation in the East Midlands. The acquisition of the site is supported by a grant from the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund.
